In this article, we researched about the hydraulic struction and the principle of drilling trolley. We concluded the fault inspecting technology in hydraulic system.Using the object-oriented design method, and basing on the theory of engineering knowledge, we construct a fault diagnose expert system for hydraulic system based on the Expert System Platform (ESP).We researched and analyzed the main hydraulic system, the construction and the working principle of hydraulic component. We concluded and summarized the fault inspecting technology in hydraulic system. Importantly, we researchand the parameter inspecting way and it's using method.In theory, we studied and analyzed the main parameter effected drilling, collected the fault and it's reason of hydraulic system in drilling production.In expert system, we explained the basic conception, knowledge express, knowledge acquisition. Using the object-oriented knowledge expressing method, we designed the class of the drilling trolley's hydraulic system.We use the method of modularization to construct our knowledge base. Following our design principle, we view the typical component and circuit as an independent module and implement it separately. When we construct a larger system, the well-designed module can be added into it. With the use of this method, we can improve our work efficiency greatly.We use trouble diagram to represent the relation between all kinds of events.In this way, we can recognize the cause and effect between all the relevant events. The introduction of the trouble diagram makes the production rule extraction much more easy and precise. By the theory of software engineering we figure out our classes and its relations with E-R diagram.Finally, we complete a fault diagnose expert system for drilling trolley's hydraulic system based on the Expert System Platform (ESP).
