Water pollution causes the impact of disasters in the great range, which does not disserve anything until it has lasted a fairly long period. Moreover, it will make water resources more deficient and deteriorate the ecological environment. In recent years, some of water-rich region and cities cause so-called pollution type of water shortage.The polluted water in the river can not be used, which has exacerbated the water resource crisis.The comprehensive rectification of central part of the Hunhe river in Fushun and major branches is the comparatively great project on the environmental protection and city construction in Fushun history. There are seven rivers in central part of the Hunhe river in Fushun, namely Zhangdang River, Dongzhou River, Haixin River, Fuxi River, Jiangjun River, Gucheng River and Lishi River. They are polluted on different degrees except Zhangdang River is polluted on relatively light degree. Haixin River is one of the most particularly serious polluted rivers.This research first has studied the water of Haixin River in the laboratory and summarized the water qualities and their variety disciplinarian. After roundly analysing the water of Haixin River at the scene, I separately inverstigated the performance of flocculation effect and sludge sedimentation effect by the influent load, flocculant dosage and sedimentation time. At the meantime, I also analysed the output water SS and sludge performance by the numbers and figured out the reasonable technical designing parameters, which provided theoretical and practical basis for the feasibility of technical qualification and demonstrated technics to optimize the existing water treatment.Experimental results indicate that the water of Haixin River had been treated by Flocculation-Precipitation Process, using polymerization aluminum chloride as flocculant, adding 10mg/l, settling over 90 min, output water COD respectively achieves about 39.44mg/l, Turbiditybelow 10; water quality is limpid and transparent. After the Flocculation Precipitation Process, the water will be dealed by the further wetland process. And then COD should drop under 20mg/l and achieve the fourth species standard of environmental surface water.
