Developing with our state grid deepened commercial operation and national grid network achieved based on province gird, it is more important of support services for power system. However, the regulation performance of AGC unit providing active frequency control in support services is of great significance to the safe operation of power grid. Therefore accurate and comprehensive evaluation and assessment for the paid support services of AGC unit is of great significance.This paper deeply analyze AGC adjustment process, and summarize requirements of AGC units'regulation performance evaluation--based on its ability of tracking the load capacity, and make deeply research on the existing AGC units performance evaluation methods, fundamentally analyze of its advantages and disadvantages. According to the AGC units' regulator curves, and considering the cluster control unit and the requirements of lean management, it is made more accurate and comprehensive. Then, through the vertical and horizontal comparison of AGC units' actual tuning and standard curve, the image method can be adjusted on the performance of AGC units' evaluation. After the evaluation, AGC units' regulation fuzzy performance was researched and found rule. Then use the mathematical way to deal with the achievement of the performance of it of the regulation. This paper design the process of the method using fuzzy function for evaluating the performance of AGC units, a comprehensive method using fuzzy function, including graphics method and fuzzy method, achieve a comprehensive evaluation of the performance of AGC units' requirements.After the study, this paper construct 6 units' simulation model of different regulation performance using MATLAB/SIMULINK. It was evaluated by image method and fuzzy method, and compared with performance act method, regulating power method and speaker compared curve method. Fuzzy method was more comprehensive than the performance act method, was more detailed and accurate then horn curve analysis method. Comparative results of simulation are simple and effective way, can fully understand the regulation of unit performance. The actual index and the operating performance of each unit calculated by fuzzy method is more in line with the results, reflecting the different performance unit differences.
