With the advent of the information age, the battle space has expanded from the traditional four-dimensional space to the five-dimensional space, which is "land, sea, air, space, and power". The invisible electromagnetic environment truly exists in all military operations. Electromagnetic environment has become an important constraint in information warfare especially in electronic warfare. How to evaluate and demonstrate the invisible and untouchable electromagnetic situation(ES) in complex electromagnetic environment has become the new problem faced by simulation personnel.This article is based on versatility, authenticity, intuitive and other issue which is needed to be addressed of ES visualization in simulation experiment. The followings are the main work and specific innovations.(1)Analyze the connotation of ES and give the definition of ES in the complex electromagnetic environment. With "set theory" and "multi-level description method", present the "Multi-level-Multi-domain" description method of ES. Respectively, the component of ES is studied from three levels, which are physical level, electromagnetic effect level and physical efficacy level. This provides a general theory framework for consociate the description and understanding of ES.(2)Further study the simulation models of electromagnetic environment and effectiveness evaluation models of radar countermeasure. Analyze the component of complex electromagnetic environment. Focused to achieve a realistic three-dimensional multi-resolution terrain which is based on the real elevation,real imagery data and LOD skill, achieve the pulse description word simulation of radar signal.The effectiveness of radar countermeasure focused on the establishment of computational model for three typical indicators, which are the radar detection probability,the positioning error of measuring and the pressing areas under the condition of interference, focused to achieve the visual simulation of pressing areas.(3)Designed and developed the visualization system of ES based on the architecture of service-oriented. Achieved the visual display of multi-level-multi-domain of ES based on the real data and models. The application of system in project background verified the effectiveness and feasibility of theoretical models and the architecture of service-oriented.
