This paper focus on 500kv substation training simulation, by use the modern computer simulation technique, sti~idy the simulation of hail process of major operate and control, running and regulate, routine and emergency conditions, protection relay and all of above subjects. Study general framework of training simulator, developed simulation model and real-time topology analysis algorithms. By all of the work, that will improve real-time behavior, boost up the reality, enrich the interface of the training simulator. During the term of graduate studies and thesis task, also takes part in and assumed some work of substation simulator project. Through the work, the author has got some experiences and skills. That is helpful for the study, and makes the study and application combining perfectly. The main work of the thesis are as following: 1. The general framework of the substation training simulator. 2. Based on the block modelling method, and electric power system load flow and fault calculate programs, established the mathematical model of substation training simulator. 3. Developed real-time topology analysis algorithms and model for two kinds of wiring connection substations. 4. For varies of protection relay devices, developed simulation algorithms and model of hardware and operating behavior.
