It is the main struggling goal of manufacturing industry to reduce the product cost and to enhance the product competitiveness at market. Reducing the design cost of product and enhancing the design grade of product is the key to enhance the synthetic competitiveness of product. In this paper, the research on the design of an effective crusher fine gained and the development of its CAD software are carried out so that all procedures are automatically completed under computer guide from initialization of the crusher work parameters to output of assembling graph and part graphs of crusher. The results are obtained as follows:We analyze the features of kinematics and dynamic of the crusher. The improvement on the crusher structure design is made in the following aspects: involutes beat board, adjust mechanism on the back protect board and sieve plate, distributaries system, sieve plat, crusher space, rotor, hammer. Furthermore, strength check is carried out.The general design plan of CAD of the effective crusher fine grained and the program flows are proposed and the exploitation method of the software is presented. By introducing technique of advanced Visual Basic ActiveX Automation into graph design of the effective crusher fine grained, therefore, work efficiency of graph design is greatly enhanced. Because of many advantages of VBA and VB program, software system efficiency is more enhanced and its function is more strengthen andits man-machine interaction is very friendly.The optimum design of the beat back -impact crusher is proposed, which aims at the highest efficiency of the machine work. The optimum designed mathematics model of the main structural dimension of the crusher (M , , Xc, S , w 2 > Ir) is built with restraining conditions such as force condition, energy condition , hammer steady condition, no moving interference , strength of spin axle and bearing condition, upper limit and lower limit of the design variant condition etc. Finally, an example is give to illustrate the efficiently of the method proposed.
