Aimed to the electric bicycle testing technology isn't adapt to the requirements of volume-produce in modern enterprise with the electric bicycle industry growing, a electric bicycle automatic testing system is researched and manufactured by using of the modern design methodology. And the correlative technologies are researched. The research work focuses on the following five main investigations:(1) A electric bicycle automatic testing technology is proposed in order to avoid the shortage of the road-driving testing. Firstly, by analyzing the mathematic model of road resistance, dynamics modele of electric bicycle is founded. Secondly, the measure and analog methods of road resistance of electric bicycle are introduced. Finally, it is proved feasible to simulate the road-driving condition of electric bicycle on the testing platform. The collectivity programming of electric bicycle automatic testing system is maken out, including the simulated application strategy and method of road-resistance and wheeling inertia ,design principle and evaluation system.(2) Based on the expatiating on design process and main content of mechanical products, the models of functional representation and functional reasoning in conceptual design are introduced detailedly. The systematic design method is discussed in detail with the functional design of the electric bicycle automatic testing system.(3) By research the conformation and design rule of principle scheme design catalogues, clamp function design catalogue is researched by designing the clamp device of the electric bicycle automatic testing system. The design process of clamp function design catalogue is introduced from collectivity programming to each composed catalogue. The research made an attempt to the design automatization of clamp.(4) The scheme design process of main sub-functions of the electric bicycle automatic testing system is introduced. The design schemes are optimized by fuzzy synthetical evaluation method.(5) The structure of electric bicycle automatic testing system is illustrated. The testing results are corrected in the electric bicycle automatic testing system, validatedby contrasted testing.
