The theory for modeling of dynamics of flexible multibody systems on plane andin space is studied by the way of combining Lagrange's equation and the finiteelement's technique. Dynamics models of dynamics of flexible multibody systems areestablished respectively on plane and in space. With general symbolic computationsoftware (MATHEMATICA), the important consistent mass matrix and its differentialcoefficient are induced. At the same time, general forces(QV) related to velocitybinomial in dynamics dominate equations are also induced. A generalMATHEMATICA software package for symbolic computation of mass matrixes ofthree kinds of familiar elements is developed. Correctness and validity of symboliccomputation are tested by examples. The steps of analyzing dynamics of flexiblemultibody systems are further discussed . Various numerical methods, with which to solve control equations of dynamicsof flexible multibody systems, are discussed. Two typical examples for are made viausing R-K method. So correctness and validity of the modeling theory of dynamics offlexible multibody systems and symbolic computation are tested.
