In this dissertation, CY6102BZLQ heavy-duty diesel engine has been taken as a prototype to study.Using GB17691-2001-13 mode test method,the emission pollutants from the original engine of CY6102BZQ were measured and analyzed in order to found out the emission characteristic. According to the weight distributions,the technical measures to reduce the exhaust emissions focused on the 6 and 8 test mode.The effects of intake temperature, intake swirl, injection timing, injection pressure and nozzle structure etc.on diesel exhaust emissions were investigated.The experimental results showed that further delaying injection timing, properly intensifying intake swirl, adopting suitable nozzle diameter and increasing the nozzle opening pressure and injection pressure of the fuel pump can improve combustion and low the harmful exhaust emissions of CY6102BZLQ heavy-duty diesel engine.Among all experimental parameters,a group of matching parameters was selected, which can make the emission of CY6102BZLQ diesel engine reach the limit of Euroâ…¡.Meanwhile, the power and economy performance of CY6102BZLQ have been also improved.
