| The research situation of diesel engines developing trend of technology and the developing course of emission legislation are introduced both at home and abroad in this paper.The background of emission control research for Model 4102BZQ diesel engine of DongFeng ChonYang Diesel Co.,Ltd(DCD)as well as its great significance were also introduced.By discussing the formed mechanism of harmful emissions of diesel engines and effective factors, and by expounding the principle and technology of emission control of diesel engines, a technical measure applied for DCD Model 4102BZQ improved diesel engine to meet Euroâ… has been found:i.e,by using a high fuel injection pressure multihole injector and strengthened fuel pump with the aim to increase the pressure of the pump end,improve the fuel feeding rate and shorten the fuel feeding time the diesel fuel can be fully sprayed;by equiping with newly designed combustion chamber with round contract opening small convex and offset, which matching with multihole injector the combustion could be oPMimized .By properly using turbocharger,increasing the efficiency of air charge, improving the machining process for the liner and reducing the advance angle of fuel feeding etc, the particles and NOx of improved 4102BZQ diesel engine were reduced so that it can meet Euroâ… emission standard.The develoPMent of Model 4102BZQ improved diesel engine allows the 4-cylinder engine of DCD to meet the emission legislation forced by our country, and extends the life-time of DCD engines, which makes a contribution to the develoPMent of DCD economy and protection of environment.
