The Study For Computer Aided Building Design On Energy Saving

In the modern era, the building construction is no longer just simply the building construction. Follow with the Sustainable Development concept, how to save and utilize energy efficiently to satisfy the requirement of Ecological Architecture becomes the most important work for architects to focus on. DOE-2 is the most popular Energy Usage Analysis Software Package. Using DOE-2, it helps architect to finish the calculation of simulation and analysis on building energy usage with building design at same time. Architect can quickly and precisely determine the choice of building parameters. Although DOE-2 is a high efficiency Energy Usage Simulation Analysis Software, but it hasn't been integrated with other Building Design Software in which the architects are using. In this case, it also brings a lot of inconvenient to architects, because Building Design Program and Energy Usage Simulation Analysis Program are two independent processors. If we can integrate these two programs into one completed procedure, the Building Design Procedure aided by Energy Usage Simulation Analysis Procedure. Thus, the development of Energy Saving Enterprise will have hug help; also it brings a big convenience to architects. The study topic of this thesis is Computer Aided Design on Energy Savings. The main idea is to integrate DOE-2 the Energy Usage Simulation Analysis Software and AutoCAD Design Software intelligently. First store the data of non-building model into DataBase, transfer the data management model from file management model into DataBase management model. Then, take advantage of ObjectARX development tool to retrieve the building model data from AutoCAD graphical database, translate these AutoCAD engineering graphics model to the model that can be organized by DOE-2. The translation procedure includes coordinates transformation and rotation. Finally DOE-2 will finish the calculation process on Building Energy Usage Simulation Analysis so that the architects can finish the Energy Usage Analysis quickly as well.
