This thesis is focused on the theory and digital implementation of a single neuron PID controller provided with self-learning and self-adaptive, with the induction motor taken as a control plant and TMS320LF2407A as a central processor.Firstly, the math model of induction motor, theory of field-oriented control of induction motor and space vector PWM are introduced particularly, and the structure of slip-frequency vector control is also provided here.In allusion to the difficulty of parameters adjustment in traditional PID controller and the dis-commodiousness of constant modify when motor's parameters or environment changes, a kind of single neuron PID is proposed in place of traditional PID controller , making use of it's self-learning ability. In this paper the single neuron PID controller is discussed in-depth.Based on the theory , then a full digital AC IM vector control speed adjustment system based on TI's DSP is proposed. In it TI's DSP is used as the central process unit, and IPM is used in the power supply unit. The performance parameters of the controller are analyzed and adjusted by plenty of experiments. Finally, the performance of traditional PID and single neuron PID controller is compared. The experimental results show the single neuron PID can take the place of traditional PID controller and it has simple structure and can be implemented easily with strong self-adaptive ability.
