Voltage level is an important index of the power energy's quality.It is very important for the stabilization of electric power network, the security and economy of power devices to realize the optimal control of voltage and reactive power. Voltage/Re active Power Control System usually calculates and analyses based on the real time data of SCADA.But the data acquisition and measurement is restricted by many kinds of conditions,which become an important obstructor on developing voltage and reactive power control system.In this paper, Data Source Simulation System generates the real time data of remote signal, remote measurements and events.It is a convenient and economical tool to calculate voltage/reactive power and test the functions of Voltage/Reactive Power Control System in the lab.The functions of Data Source Simulation System are designed and realized in this paper.With an electric power network example, the functions of Data Source Simulation System are verified.
