This paper briefly introduced the basic knowledge and the development of high-frequency series resonant induction heating power supply, the control problem also be discussed. Analyze and affirm the blue print of the power composing, the method of power regulation. It can be concluded that power regulating in the commutate side in favor of enhancing the frequency and power of high-frequency induction heating power supply. The load of induction heating power supply-heating winding was detailed analyzed and equivalent circuit was presented.This paper analyzed the switching process of series resonant inverter in detail, and study the circuit's surge voltage and surge current when the load presenting inductive and capacitive. Then came a conclusion that when load presenting inductive, the surge voltage and surge current is smaller. This paper deeply analyzed surge voltage and surge current in three different dead time when the load is inductive. Then the best jumping-off point is before the current going to zero and the best end-point just at the point of zero. The optimal dead time calculate method was given lastly.The design of inverter and power control circuit was presented in thispaper, which also studied load frequency following control system that have the best dead time and power control system based on DSP. Phase looked loop was used as the core equipment of frequency following, on-line adjustment of dead time realized by DSP which depend on the best dead time calculate method. Designed the hardware control platform using TMS320LF2407A, including sampling circuit, protecting circuit, driving and otherperiphery circuit. Fuzzy control was also imported in the power adjustment of induction heating power supply. The hardware and software realization scheme was given. The experiment wave and results were provided in the end of this paper.
