It's very important to develop laser simulated shooting trainer system and fit outthe company to raise soldier's shooting level, and reduce the defense expenditures at thesame time. It also has practical significance to achieve modernization of nationaldefense and intelligentization of military training.For the moment, recruit gunnery training mostly have two parts: aiming andshooting. The aiming cycle is relative long compared with shooting which is about oncea year,even twice a year if we take the final shooting examination into account. Theshooting training is not very well because of some objective factors: large workload,high cost, security, training field and others. Due to these reason we design oneautomatic rifle laser simulation target shooting system which successfully solve theabove problem. This system is secure, simple and high precise and includes thefollowing functions: target real-time display and calculation of results and others.A new laser shooting trainer system was developed based on entertainment lasertarget-shooting machine, Hardware was designed and software was developedaccording to requirements of the arty unit. The performances were improved withlonger shooting distance increased from 5m to 100m. On this machine, we disparate thetarget and laser transmitter and change the inner structure and function so that thissystem can be divide into two individual segments: laser transmitter system and laserreceiver system.The laser transmitter is fixed on the gun-barrel of rifle. In this dissertation wedesign a 3D tunable laser transmitter which can adjust its laser beam orientation viaturning the fixed knob. The semiconductor laser transmitter emits the "laser bullet"andthe GaAsP photodiode is the sensor to collect the flash lamp signal. After collecting thecorresponding electric signal and amplifying with difference amplification, the electricsignal was detected and processed by the inner signal acquisition and processing circuit.This independent laser transmitter possesses compactness, light in weight, safety andstability and others merits.We design the receiving target plane based on the following merits: simplestructure, comprehensive function, relative practice and high precision. The target planeis block structure. The target plane comprises of 5 rings which represent 6-10respectively. Then we divide each ring into 8 parts: upper, down, left, right, upper left,upper right, down left, down right. That means we have 30 individual signal sources onthis plane. The multiplex analog switch is used as the data channel. The signal iscollected and processed by SCM after amplifying and reshaping. The ring number isdisplayed in real-time mode and the LED displays the adding ring number. We alsodeveloped the corresponding software which is responsible for intelligent display. In the end, the dissertation proposed the future work including: the serialcommunication method between SCM and PC, data processing via PC, friendly GUIdesign, real-time display on PC and the evaluation and management of shooting trainingresults via database software. In this dissertation we primarily designed the hardware and software of SLTPGTS(simulation laser target practice gunnery training system) and proposed a reasonalsystem expansion scheme for future work.
