The thermoeconomic methodology was applied to the analysis and optimal design of adistributed energy system composed of a micro gas turbine and a double-effect H2O/LiBrabsorption cooler. Thermal model and economic model of the system were build up,and theyare restrictions of the objective function. Objective function to be optimized was deduced,Optimized variables were selected from the operating parameters. The function optimizationwas done running a program built in FORTRAN90 language. The optimal set of designparameters can be used to determine the optimal design and operation of the energy system.
