The pollution including sulfur dioxide are very serious during coal combustion, which makes our country's atmosphere pollution deterioration. In this paper, a series of important problems on the sulfur releasing characteristics distribution characteristics and sulfur dioxide removal during coal combustion were systemically analyzed and studied by the integrated methods of the theory and experiment. The research work is an important part of the Natural Science Foundation of Liaoning Province(20042174).Firstly, sulfur emission charscteristics and sulfur removal in coal combustion were summarized, research work in this paper was introduced.Secondly, related influencing factors on the sulfur emission by orthogonal experiments and single factor experiments have been studied because of the scatter research of sulfur release ,the dynamic model of sulfur releasing during coal combustion has been established.Thirdly, the sulfur distribution characteristics about the combustion product of coal for power plant boiler was investigated. The mathematics model of sulfur emission in fired-bed boiler was established.Finally, typical calcium-based desulfuration absorbents were studied, the mathematics model of sulfur emission during coal combustion has been set up.
