In this paper the dynamic characteristic of the high-pressure rotor of a real turbinesupported by journal bearing was theoretically analyzed. The FEM model of this rotorwas established properly, with which the modal analysis and harmonic analysis weredone with help of ANSYS. Dynamic parameters such as natural frequency of therotor-bearing system were calculated and the effect of the stiffness and dampingcoefficient on the vibration amplitude of the rotor-bearing system was discussed.Furthermore the response of the rotor-bearing system under varies imbalance andrubbing conditions was analyzed. The response of the rotor on different size, directionand position of imbalance and rubbing force was shown in form of orbit changing of therotor system.
