High Voltage inverter is widely used in power system,high voltage transducer and stored energy supply. This paper presents the solution of high voltage 400Hz inverter ,it also discusses and improves the present repetitive control system, and adopts FIR digital filter in the design of repetitive control system. The followings are the main work: With the load current treated as a measurable disturbance input, a linear mathematical model is established for a PWM inverter Based on the state-space averaging and linearization technique. The control of output waveform for 400Hz inverter is different from 50Hz inverter, the particularity of 400Hz inverters is discussed from three aspects of the capacity for flux imbalance, the phase compensation of repetitive control and the time delay of digital control. A comprehensive theoretic analyze is carried out on repetitive control system. System stability, error convergence and steady-state error are discussed. A geographic explanation is presented for better understanding of the stability condition. The design of "plug-in"repetitive control system is discussed in detail, and a improved scheme is presented here. a brief introduction for the common used Q(z) is given and the disadvantages and advantages of these methods are also analyzed. In this paper, the solution of an 400Hz inverter is put forward which includes the design of main circuit, the drive and protection for high voltage IGBT modules and the high voltage auxiliary power supply.The use of the driving module 2SD315AI-33 and optical fiber are discussed in detail here. The shortcomeings of the old method of designing the repetitive control system are analyzed here and FIR digital filter is adopted for repetitive controller, and the advantages and disadvantages of FIR digtal filter are disscussed. In the paper ,the classification and the design method for FIR digital filter is introduced, the evaluation of the new method is made based on emulational results.
