With the rapid development of network technology, the remote monitoring and control technology through network has continually been introduced into the field of industrial control. It made the remote monitoring and control of the local equipment possible. The paper firstly expatiates the developmental course of the monitoring and control system for the double-suspension sluice hydraulic hoist and contraposes the development of based-internet remote monitoring and control technology, and then it puts forward sluice hydraulic hoist on the spot was remotely monitored and controlled though the internet network by the ADSL access mode. It makes the local monitoring and control system for sluice station extended to an internet-based remote monitoring and control system by the application of such technology as computer network communication technology, configuration control technology and streaming media technology. It opens up the network manager and opening visitation of the water resource industry. First, the paper sets up a project of ADSL-based network access, and provides a design scheme of centralized delamination frame mode after studying and designing the whole framework of the system according to the actuality of the local monitoring and control subsystem. It also structures the hardware and software project. With the requirement for the control function needed on the spot, the configuration monitoring technology — KingView6.5 software is introduced to exploit the applied software up to local subsystem. At the same time, the PLC control program is compiled. And then, a server application integrated Web server,database server,alarm and I/O server is constructed and the Browse/Server structure is employed in the local IPC. They make the local monitoring and control system of sluice station extended to an internet-based remote monitoring and control system. In the design of the subsystem, it employs Windows Socket and TCP/IP protocol to fulfill network communication of remote monitoring, and exploits two ActiveX controls. The ActiveX server application and client application are respectively embedded into the configuration software and the ASP pages. A communication transmit structure is also designed to implement the real-time data interaction,display and the transmission of the control command. They enlarge the system's remote monitoring and control application. Also, the paper adopts ASP which is accessed remote database technology through ADO to actualize the remote visitation and manager of the local IPC database. In the foundation of the remote and local monitoring subsystem, the paper presents a video surveillance project which adopts streaming media technology and the pure software mode. It utilizes Windows Media Encoder SDK and its groupware to program video-streaming-service and combines with ActiveX control technology,Windows Sockets and TCP protocol to achieve remote video surveillance and control. It also responses given alarm kinescope with kingview through DDE and compiles the program of remote kinescope,show and start-up or turn-off video services. All these consummate the remote monitoring and control function of the system though network ulteriorly.
