Recently, for development of technology in electronics and control tactics, drivesystem of Permanent Magne Synchronous Motor (PMSM) has been developedmaturely. The Vector control strategy is widely used in PMSM drive system. There areno exciting windings in PMSM but a permanent magnet which produces magnet fieldfor the rotor, so a less complex circuit architecture is achieved and the Vector Controltactic used in PMSM system reaches a better peformance than that used inasynchronous motor drive system. To promote system dynamic performance a newcontrol strategy--Auto-Disturbance-Rejection Controller (ADRC) applied in PMSMdrive system is presented in this paper.In this paper, history of ADRC is introduced, ADRC and its three componentsincluding linear tracing differentiator, extended state observer and the structure ofnonlinear error feedback control regulation are deeply analyzed and simulationmodels of quadratic nonlinear tracing differentiator, thress order extended stateobserver and quadratic linear ADRC are given. Through comparing the simulationresults, tracing and filtering performances of linear tracing differentiator and extendedstate observer and characteristics of quadratic linear ADRC are analyzed. From theview those results, the ADRC in its anti-disturbance and robustness performanceexcels traditional PID controller. After comparing simulation results between ADRCand PID controller used in PMSM drive system respectively, the result of dynamicperformances improved in drive system of PMSM based on ADRC is concluded.
