The Research Of Communication Architechture Of SAS And Its Applycation Based On IEC 61850

The IEC 61850 Communication networks and system in substations designed by IEC TC 57 is the newest international standard on substation automation. The background, the function and the orgnization of IEC 61850 are introduced in this paper. Further, the process of the establishment and the characteristics of IEC 61850 are given. According to the understanding of interchangeability and interoperability, this paper analyzes the key technology of the standard.Taking the application of the project of the intelligent dispatch and decision making system in LanZhou as an example, this paper realizes the traditional fault information system which is in real-running. According to the rule of falut information system based on IEC 61850, this paper presents the analysis of modelling of substation and real computer-based relays and the technique scheme of XML based on SCL and the configuration tools.
