With the rapid development of the national industry currently, a mass of control equipments based on computer and roboticized electro-facilities have been put into use in succession. The industrial consumer have raised stricter request for power quality, so the problem of power quality causes broad recognition. With the establishment of market economy step by step in our country,offering top-quality power is very important matter that should be taken into account necessarily in distribution network development to adapt request of power market economy development and enhance competition ability.It is discovered by research that nine tenths power quality problem comes from distribution network. Statistical data indicates that high automatization users suffer ten to fifty disturbances concerned about power quality problem every year. Thereinto the accidents caused by dynamic voltage quality involving voltage fluctuation and flicker account for eighty three percent. Voltage fluctuation and flicker have become the one of primary causes that threatens supply credibility of important users. Therefore, the mitigation of voltage fluctuation and flicker is a great important research issue.This dissertation analyse the basal theory of voltage fluctuation and flicker and the function characteristic of parallel var compensation equipments, on base of which the mathematical model used to calculate and analyze the dynamic process of voltage fluctuation and flicker is created, and the numerical simulation calculation and analyse is done. The following contents are studied primarily:â‘ The basic conception and generation mechanism of voltage fluctuation and flicker are studied, and the harm of voltage fluctuation and flicker is analysed.â‘¡Two calculation methods of voltage fluctuation are analysed, which are short circuit voltage depression method and maximal reactive power alteration method, and the examples are calculated using each of them.â‘¢The operating principle of parallel var compensation equipments is analysed and compared, the numerical simulation model of mitigation voltage fluctuation and flicker using var compensation equipments is created, the effect of mitigation voltage fluctuation and flicker using fix capacitance and dynamic var compensation is compared and analysed.â‘£The factor of influencing the compensation effect of dynamic var compen-...
