With the development of wind power generation technique and the offshore wind farm constructing, the VSC?HVDC technology is widely applied to the wind farm interconnection. The coordinated control strategy of DFIG and VSC?HVDC is designed in this paper based on the analysis of wind farm output characteristics. The steady operation of the whole system with decoupled control to active power and reactive power is realized. Aimed at the need of enhancing capability of VSC interconnected operation when asymmetric fault in ac system happens, an independent control approach of positive and negative components is designed. The simulation results prove that the 2nd-order harmonic in power and dc voltage is eliminated and fluctuations of transient variables are deduced.
