In electric power industry, pulverized coal boiler is one of the power equipment which is widely used. It is very important because of its extensive occurrence in industry and in people's living life. The emission of nitrogen oxide of the pulverized coal boilers is also becoming an environmental problem to be solved. But now, the research of boiler's deNOx technology is only based on some sub-scale experiments and the accumulated experience in operations of utility furnaces. Such experience and data are limited to solve the problem.Fuel-staging combustion is an effective deNOx technology. Two forms of this technology are studied in this article: Reburn and New three-zone technology. Reburn technology are the popular deNOx technology used in the world. But the development of them is limited by the sub-scale experiment. New three-zone deNOx combustion technology has been put forward with study and analysis of various combustion technologies at present. With the fast development of computer, the numerical simulation of combustion has been an important means to the combustion theory research. By using the FLUENT software, the problems of turbulent flow, heat transfer, combustion and the generation of pollutants are calculated. The influence to the NOx emission of boiler by different combustion methods like Reburn and New three-zone technology is studied in this article. My work contains that the research of the influence of the amount and the diameter of reburn fuel to the emission of NOx; numerical simulation of the different excessive air coefficient of new three-zone combustion; the influence of the volatile component fraction to emission of NOx of new three-zone combustion. It is found that the the amount and the diameter of reburn fuel influent the emission of NOx in evidence; with reburning combustion, about 45 percent of the amount of NOx emission could be reduced. To coal of high volatile, using the New three-zone technology could decrease about 60 percent of the amount of NOx emission.
