The electric railway traction load is a large power commutating load of big fluctuating,It has the characteristics of three-phase dissymmetry,highly non-linear,big capacity,broad distributing,fluctuations and impact of the loaded power etc.Therefore,The electric railway traction load has a tremendous influence to the power system security and economical movement,compensating to the power system reactive power,voltage control,the electrical network power supply quality,it also has important practical significance and the project value to the research of the electric railway traction load.This dissertation introduced the Load characteristic recorder system which was applied in the electric railway traction transformer substation,emphatically analyzed the main step and the process of the Load characteristic recorder system based on DSP and USB Data communication connection.The system could provide abundance Data source for the research of the electric railway load model,The research results can solve the electric network harmonic,load tidal current simulation estimation problem under the influence of the electric railway traction load,The related countermeasure can not only apply to the controlling decision-making of electrical network-operating,but also played the important instruction role to the layout of electric railway traction electric network.This dissertation explained the necessity and vital significance of the modelling work to the traction substation firstly,then analysed the characteristic of the data acquisition application object and the system design request,composition and function in detail.The overall system carries the USB and the DSP technology consistently,The universal serial bus (USB) has the characteristic of low cost,the simple use,Plug and Play and expand easily,The USB enable the system to have the simple connection contactsurface, outstanding extended and the data transmission speed quickly and so on the merits.The DSP technology has provided the ability to process complex operation, can satisfy the massive operations which the complex industryenvironment requests.The software design has completed the overall system software platform compilation and test,which was based on the SEED-DSK5509 development boarda,and uses Visual C++ to compile the controlling software of PC.The software compilation uses the idea of modular and take the rationality, the stability,the extension, the repetition, the friendliness as the principle of design.This dissertation also introduced software development platform,described the software thought and produced the partial essential codes,Proposed solution scheme of the difficulties in development.Introducing the USB to DSP data acquisition system as is the key point and difficulty of the system development,the last part of dissertation combined USB agreement to describe how to develop a new data acquisition system based on the USB partially,elaborated the universal serial bus USB firmware programming and the driver design,carried through the detailed demand analysis of the data transmission and given the actual transmission test result.
