Water gushing is always a important attribute that affects the construction security in underground construction, and water yield prediction is the key of settlling the problem. This article had a understanding of present domestic and foreign research situation about this problem, and in view of characteristic of the Water yield problem in the underground power house of pumped storage station, we thoroughly discussed the water yield problem. The article combined with the project of Jiang Xi Hong Ping pumped storage station, we analyzed the factors affects the water yield mainly about crevice characteristic in the cock burying depth of underground power house and ceological conditions. This article unifies the pumped storage dydropower plant project in Jiang Xi Hong Ping, and make use of numerical method to research dynamic change when underground powerhouse excavated, furtherly constructed the simulation model of threedimensional seepage flow to forecast the stable water volume of yielded after underground powerhouse excavated, finally we took commonly used prediction methods to confirmates the results. In view of the area that has separated crevasse network system make use of discrete fissure network model method to give a further discussion , and analysised the width of crevasse influence the volume of water yielded . In this article we systemly analysised the problem of water yield prediction of underground powerhouse in the pumped storage station, and give a effective prediction method to settle the problem, and have some practical value to engineering construction.
