With the development of aerotechnics satellitic communication becomes more and more important. In order to implement the satellitic data transmission, the antenna must target and track the goal precisely. High precision and ultra-low speed servo system must be applied as the result of remote distance and relative low speed. Based on an overall review of related papers published at home and abroad this dissertation is devoted to the control theories and implementation of satellitic antenna servo system. The main content can be divided into the following four sections.The first section (chapter 1 and 2) is concerned with the basic principle of AC servo system and Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). In the first chapter background, development, present situation and future prospect of AC servo system is described in detail. Then the mathematic model of PMSM and the basic principle of vector control strategy are concluded in chapter two.The second section (chapter 3) focuses on linear stage. Linear stage is appropriate in this high precision servo situation. The linear power stage is discussed in detail in chapter three including the constitution, basic type, power consumption, efficiency. The comparison between linear power stage and other circuit form is also given.The third section (chapter 4) analyzes the control system of satellitic antenna servo system including the MATLAB simulation model and simulation result, speed and position detecting method and its error analysis, control system analysis and speed control loop parameter design, speed characteristic and so on.The fourth section (chapter 5,6,7 and 8) introduces two kinds of satellitic antenna servo system based on two control chips. One is DSP and the other is FPGA. Hardware and software design of DSP controlled system is given in chapter 5 and chapter 6 respectively. The content of FPGA controlled system such as the constitution, hardware design and module design is given in chapter 7. The experimental result and its analysis of DSP controlled system is given in chapter 8.Finally, a summary of full text and conclusions are given.
