Water is the most basic material of human, related to the survival of mankind race, and social development. Along with the development of industrial and agricultural, water pollution is worsening and the content of organic growing. The organic matter content of the water is growing. Drinking water safety issues are attracting increasing attention. CJ/T206-2005 " Urban water quality standards " to control up to 103 targets, of which 58 organic indicators; GB5749-2005 "sanitary standard for drinking water," Water quality projects original 35 to 107, of which 53 organic indicators. The risk awareness of new water quality standards for water quality does not remain in the inorganic constituents of water, but pay more attention to the organic pollution in water. The vast majority of China's traditional water used in water purification process has been unable to fully meet the new water quality standards. Carbon adsorption of water has become the hotspot as an important means, as it could effectively remove organic pollutants in water and protect drinking water of chemical safety. Research and application of activated carbon adsorption technology is the important subject to solve the drinking water of organic pollution. This thesis using efficient separation, high-sensitivity detector, and headspace, liquid-liquid extraction of samples before treatment, with the DOC, UV254, HPLC, GC-MS determinate of total organic carbon, ultraviolet absorption, the molecular weight distribution of volatile and semi-volatile organic pollutants distribution. Organic pollutants of Yellow River water were investigated for the first time, to provide the data safeguard for further development of the water technology technological innovation. We use activated carbon on the Yellow River water for the adsorption study Discussion of the impact of the mechanism of activated carbon to the organic law on the removal of pollutants in the Yellow River water. The results show that the Yellow River water has been a certain degree of organic pollutants and 36 species of organisms were detected, in which Molecular weight concentrated mainly in between 5k-500, including Ester, alcohol, acid, hydroxybenzene, halogen, hydrocarbon, phenyl groups, alkene, hydrocarbon, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, other semi-volatile organic compounds, CHCL3,CHBr3 and others Volatile disinfection by-product. In these organisms, phenyl groups hydrocarbon and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons accounted for the majority, and dibutyl phthalate and disinfection by-products close to the Related standards. The effect of the activated charcoal removes the organic pollutant in the water is obvious, and the adsorption rate of UV254 indicator is 58.5%. The concentration of organic reduced obviously when the water is activated carbon treatment, but the type has not changed mostly. Activated Carbon mainly Adsorbed non-polar organic compounds of water and weakly Adsorption effect to the small molecular polarity of the organic compounds in the water.
