The numerical simulations of the combustion process and the NOx discharging characteristic in CRF boiler and in 1160t/h boiler with straw as reburning fuel were carried out. The results indicate that: The temperature in main combustion zone is higher 100K-300K than that in reburning zone, which is beneficial to the reduction of NOx, and the main fuel could burn out in the main zone; velocity field distribution reveals that the effect of flow turbulence is good; NOx generates in main combustion zone mostly, then reduced largely; the increasing of reburning fuel could advance the reductive reaction extent and enhance the reaction intensity; compared with the other reburning fuels, as micronized coal and bituminous, the reburning effect about straw is similar or better, above all we can gain that biomass energy reburning to reduce the NOx emission in power plant is feasible. The numerical simulation results about straw reburning in this article have important theory significance and the practical application value for biomass energy power generation to reduce the discharge of NOx.
