Matrix method has been extensively applied gradually for power plant thermo-dynamic system analysis, therefore, study on the application of matrix method havepractical significance.Based on the existing theories, the new ideas about direction of development wereput forward. General matrix equations of constant flow and constant power are used toanalysis typical units and optimize distribution of enthalpy of feedwater. Otherwise, twomathematical models influenced by each extraction steam pressure loss and heater heatloss on thermal economy of unit are established. The characteristics influenced byextraction steam pressure loss and heater heat loss on thermal economy are analyzed byeach model. this paper calculates the units of different capability by Delphi. Theexample show the correctness of the equations. Compared with the old methods, themodels have more versatility and terse formats.
