The development tendency of modern load modeling is to reference and integrate the approach of Component-Based Modeling and Measurement-based modeling. At present, fault recording device and power quality monitoring device have been installed, in many substations. With the data recorded by these devices, the load model built using Component-Based Modeling approach could be verified and modified, which is the way to use Measurement-based modeling approach in Component-Based Modeling approach. Data recording device can't be installed at every load node as Measurement-based modeling approach required, so it is necessary to employ Component-Based Modeling approach to spread to models already built at some nodes to other nodes.This paper builds load model in Component-Based Modeling approach based on typical data of load characteristic, Stat. data and data from fault recording device, considering load characteristic of Neimeng especially Mengxi, the installation situation of fault recording device, consumer database built by each region electric departments and other factors. This paper explains how to verify load model using fault recording data.
