This paper summarized the actuality, development trend and existing problems of the mining fan. Based on the analysis of the air dynamic performance characteristics and the structure of the Axial-flow fan and the contral-rotaring Axial-flow fan, the paper puts up the Dual-Velocity Contral-rotaring qxial fan for mining which has high security, reliability, adjustable air dynamic performance, great efficiency and lower noise.Based on the air dynamic theories for the general Axial-flow fan and the contral-rotaring Axial-flow fan, the paper first analyzes the air dynamic performance influence from each structure then synthetically analyzes and optimizes the design of each structure. Associated with the electromotor factor we succeed developed special electromotor for separating explosion. The paper designs and computes fan air dynamics through computing software made by the author.The experiment of sample machine shows that it is great successful to develop the fan. A fan can have multiple different rotate speed partnership modes and have multiple air dynamics performance parameters, which can satisfy the request for the wind quantity and wind pressure during each phase of mining laneway and can supply wind according need. The fan is provide with great wind pressure, great amount of wind, commodious high efficiency area coverage and lower noise, which can well settle the far distance ventilation problems during moving forward in the coal mine laneway and thus can hold great market future.
