Research On Solid Waste Management Model Of Small Towns

As the'hot'issues of small towns during urbanization, solid waste management was attention day by day and the research on solid waste management extensional rapidly. With the small towns developing, small town's residents request better environment also.But, in our country, as the small towns solid waste management was just in the initial stage, the overall level was too low, it cannot adapt to the demand of small towns completely. If we cannot solve these problems, they will affect the healthy development of small towns, and seriously, affect the overall strategic of our country developing.Through analyses and appraise to the small towns status, this paper found the problems in the solid waste management of small towns and trend of developing. Through refer to the advanced concepts and successful experience of medium and large cities at home and abroad and combine its own characteristics, this paper try to make the best decision.In the part of management model, this Paper introduced the best ways of solid waste management in source reduction, separate collection, transport and disposal, and applied AHP to choose the transport model.Finally, this paper take the small towns SWM of Kunshan city as example, and take the socio-economic developing and the process of urbanization as background, and take the pollution control together as guidelines. At last, this Paper got the model and technical methods of solid waste management in these towns.
