In some industry,the requirements of the reactive power compensation is relatively high real-time.Such as the automotive,shipbuilding welding industry.The electric welding machine load changes extremely rapid,and triggers a large amount of reactive power.Such a welding machine load a large number of serious impact on access to grid quality power supply,often have a greater voltage fluctuation,voltage flicker,resulting in poor quality welding and affect the efficiency of welding.So it is very important to use the reactive power compensation controller to compensate the reactive power in real-time.The single-phase JKF series of dynamic phase low-voltage reactive power compensation controller is a intelligent instrument of the fast reactive power compensation.It can detect the reactive power as soon as in less than a cycle time.Then it controls the capacitor switch by the thyristor,so as to compensate the reactive power in time.As it can compensate the reactive power in real-time,it is very important to use this controller in industries where the reactive power changes extremely fast,such as the automotive,shipbuilding welding industry. At the same time,due to its single-phase compensation,it also can be used in unbalanced three-phase circuits.The traditional reactive power calculation method according to traditional definition is difficult to meet the dynamic reactive power compensation system controller in rapid response to the request,therefore this paper use instantaneous reactive theory to achieve the calculation of reactive power and detection in the dynamic reactive power compensation system controller.In this paper,the core DSP chip TMS320F2806,the detection circuit which includes the sampling circuit and the conditioning circuit,and other peripheral control and drive circuit constitute the controller.It takes electric welding machine for the load and uses the characteristics of that to develop a single-phase JKF series low-voltage dynamic reactive power compensation controller prototype and a complete software and hardware system,and eventually check its performance. Emphasis of the paper are laid on following:Overall design of the system;Design of hardware,including signal conditioning circuit,power circuit,data storage circuit, keyboard and LCD display circuit;Detailed introduction of the inner structure and operating principle of some kinds of hardware;Software design,including the programming of master-control program,the programming of time delay,the programming of sampling,the implementation of the instantaneous reactive power theory in single-phase reactive power detection method and the programming of keyboard/LCD service.Finally,its compensation rate is verified by the three-phase sophisticated test power.The experimental results show that the controller can quickly and effectively detect the single-phase reactive power and the improvement programme can effectively reduce the error caused by harmonics.The way by sampling the instantaneous value of current and voltage to compensate the reactive power is fast, efficient and accurate.It is suitable for the application of fast single-phase reactive power compensation,and has practical engineering value.
