As one of the importantcomponents of the water ramjet, powdered water ramjet isa new concept propulsion system which has the advantages of high energy, adjustablethrust and environment protection. In this dissertation, exploring researches on theconfiguration, operating characteristics and working processes of the ramjet arecarriedoutbyusingtheoretical analysisandnumericalsimulation.The principle and mathematical models of heat transfer of the regenerative coolingsystem which is the base of the configuration of the powdered water ramjet has beenpresentedandanalyzed.The effect ofdifferent kinds of flameholder has beenanalyzed byusing numericalsimulation. And co-flow jets with large velocitydifference is chosenas the final deviceforthesystem.Depending on the feasibility of the regenerative cooling system, the conceptualconfiguration of the powered water ramjet has been established combining with dualwater injection and co-flow jets with large velocity difference. The basic configurationoftheramjethasbeenestablishedthroughnumericalsimulation.Numericalsimulationiscarriedout inordertostudytheinfluencesofstructureandworking parameters on performance of the engine, such as the diameter of the metalparticle,water-fuelratioandtheinjectionlocations.
