Because of the higher and higher requirement of processing precision, the open-loop control of two-phase hybrid stepper motor becomes more limited. While the motor runs in low speed, it produce obvious oscillation, which may make noises, and more important, may do great harm to the machine. So, how to reduce that oscillation and struck stable control system with the modern motor technology, modern power electrics technology, digital technology and control theory attract more and more attention.In this paper, our works mainly focus on two points. The first is the simulation which can be divided into three parts. The first part is to build a new two-phase hybrid stepper motor model in Simulink. The second part is to make the fuzzy control and PI control theory together to develop a kind of fuzzy-Pi control. The third part is to simulate control system. The simulation result shows that control system benefits quick-response, better tracing, anti-interference and lower torque ripple and speed fluctuation. The second point is building the servo based on DSP 2407A, which enable us to finish the experiment. The experiments' results show that the fuzzy-Pi control system has good performance.Due to the shortage of personal ability and the limitation of work time, there must be some problems in this paper.
