The Development Of Tools For Test GOOSE Messages Of Relays Based On 61850 Protocol

This paper analysized the requirements and current situation of testing tools for GOOSE packets in the digital substation automation system. And analysized the GOOSE packet format in the IEC61850 protocol. The WinPcap development kit under the Visual C++ platform is analysized for the feasibility of developing testing tools of the GOOSE packet. Then, the GOOSE message modeling is discussed, and the test tool for catching the GOOSE message is completed. At the same time, through the analysis of the digital substation SCD file, we can visually catch the GOOSE messages of digital protection relays. The tools developed show very good availability in test of the digital substation automation system.
