Switching operation is an important task of substation staffs,the automatic sequence switching system can relieve work intensity and improve operation efficiency. Based on the prototype of the 500kV underground substation in Shanghai , this dissertation achieves an automatic sequence switching system,which is developed with the expert system language CLIPS (C Language Integrated Production System). The main works in this dissertation are as follows:1. Considering the needs of system,CLIPS is chosen as the expert system developing tool,with which the related knowledge is expressed and organized,and the knowledge design stack is completed. Since there are numerous devices in this system,including primary and secondary equipments,and different devices is related with different switching rules,it has good compatibility and expandability to express the devices in object-oriented way,and control the operational process in process -oriented way. 2. The object-oriented language COOL provided by CLIPS6.0 is used to define a device class firstly,then transformer,busbar,line,switch,protector classes are derived. Attributes and facts for one object are filled in slots,and encapsulated as data members of the object class. For primary equipment,its related equipments,type and status will be reflected through the slots,for secondary equipment,the related protection devices and condition are reflected.3. The corresponding operation rule stack is established according to . The tasks have four parts, including:operation,backup,maintenance and discontinued, and they usually can be switched. Operation rules are distinguished with task types and voltage levels. A operation task always is composed of many small operations,according to that, this dissertation divides a big task into small tasks,and each small task has a corresponding rules,in which way redundancy and repeated work can be avoided.4. This automatic sequence switching system has been tested and applied in a training simulation system for a underground substation,and the result shows this switching system can reason out operation ticket including both primary and secondary steps,which improves the correct and normalization for filling the operation tickets.
