Automated Mechanical Transmission, as so called AMT, is a new-style transmission system. AMT technology applies the automatic technology to the manual mechanical transmission and clutch, makes the selection-gear, shift, clutch and throttle implement automatically. AMT technology is suitable for the situation of our country, and has an expansive market and development foreground.Using effective measures of fault diagnosis and treatment on-line judges exactly operation status of vehicle in the progress of developing Automated Mechanical Transmission. So this, detect and treat with matters guarantees security of vehicle running in time. Rational and effective technology of fault diagnosis and treatment on line not only guarantees that system is reliable in any sudden event, but also it bring convenience to complex electronic control system of vehicle in modern. The electronic control system of AMT is more perfect and reliable. And has the advantage of the product popularization.This paper summarizes development process and actuality of automated mechanical transmission AMT. At one time, it expatiates on application status,trend,and research significance. And it studies technology of fault diagnosis and treatment for diversified dynamic system. According to advantages and disadvantages, it brings forward measure for the electronic control system of AMT. Then the paper introduces particularly components and control theory of AMT Electronic Control System. On the basis it analyzes particularly every component arises faults possibly in running for AMT Electronic Control System. On the basis of studying fuzzy reasoning,neural net algorithm and genetic algorithm, it brings that AMT Electronic Control System is diagnosed by Optimization Fuzzy Neural Network. On account of characteristic of every part, it designs suitable measure of fault tolerant control for them.At last, By using MATLAB toolbox, genetic algorithm obtains approximate global optimization point , then improved BP algorithm adjust the values elaborately ,lastly obtains optional control model and through test samples simulation experiment. The simulation results show the validity and practicability of this fault diagnosis approach.
