Now Reliability technology is becoming more and more aware by all sectors, and the military value and economic value of reliability of arms system is increasingly being recognized. For high radio-frequency weapons especially for those whose firing rate is at 3,000 ~ 7,000 shots, when they successively complete the process of automatic action with high-speed, the impact and wear between components may not make movement components accurately complete the specified action and decrease radio-frequency of arms. Therefore, it is necessary to make research on the reliability of high radio-frequency arms.On the basis of reliability theory of mechanism, the paper takes automatic machine parts of gatling weapon as the object and analyzes its reliability of mechanic action and structural strength.Firstly, through contrastive analysis on testing methods of several goodness of fit, the paper selects Anderson-Darling statistics to analyze powder gas pressure data, and then identifies the best distribution types of pressure data.Secondly, according to reliability simulation line of mechanic action proposed, simulation analysis system of mechanism action reliability is established, which is applied to reliability analysis and calculation of complex mechanic action and is used universally. Percussion mechanism of gatling weapon is analyzed through SASMAR to obtain the speed, acceleration and displacement reliability of firing pins. Its sensitivity parameter is analyzed.Finally, as random parameters, geometry and material properties of the barrel is taken parameter modeling, the strength reliability of the barrel is analyzed using two kinds of reliability analysis methods, and the impact degree that random variables have on structural response is obtained. In addition, it is found that by analysis, hybrid analog method has such characteristics of small amount of calculation, quick speed and high accuracy.
