This paper, basing on analyses of postharvest preservative methods of cut flower at present, combines production practices and study postharvest preservative methods of cut flower of chrysanthemum in the course of production, aiming to find out postharvest preservative methods that fit to the need of production.Study includes two aspects. First, we carried on researches of harvest time, harvest methods, refrigeration, drinking, neatening and transportation of cut flower of chrysanthemum. Second, we carried on researches of pretreatment fluid and application condition, including experimental investigations of traditional preservative solution, pulse-treatment of tradition preservative solution, preservative solution without pollution, and prolonging time of store with preservative solution. The result shows: (1) Through practices and examinations of farm production and postharvest treatment of cut flower, we sum up detailed and comprehensive procedure of harvest and postharvest, and proved that bevel cut helps to growth of postharvest cut flower and second treatment of boiled water helps to eliminate the gas within flower caudexes. (2) Traditional preservative solutions promote comeback of drinking ability of cut flower with long-playing store. (3) Pulse-treatment with preservative solution helps to postponing senescence of leaves and prolonging vase-life and fits to short time pretreatment of cut flower. (4) Preservative solutions without pollution help to postponing senescence of leaves and prolonging vase-life, and get the same effect with argentums preservative solution. 900mg/L of alum can protect caudexes from decay. (5) Traditional preservative solutions help to taking from harm from SO2 to cut flower. This research proves that comprehensive application and improving rationally of preservative methods of cut flower offer effective technologies to cut flower production. Results of the research offer referrence datum foundation of physiological control mechanism of preservative and senescence of cut flower of chrysanthemum and flower without ethylene.
