This experime-nt used the three dimensional finite element method Establishes the high accuracy of Selfligating appliance maxillary dentition and periodontal tissue by means of the three dimens-ional l finite element method, Study the beginning of orthodontics ectopic maxillary late-ral incisor the stress in the periodontal tissues and tooth displacement[.Methods]: Multi slice spiral CT scanning of maxil-la for maxillary teeth andperiodontal tissue data, through the Mimics software to establish accurate maxillarydentition,periodontal membrane,alveolar bone, self-locking brackets,arch wire on Threedimensional finite element model.Including periodontal membrane for root evenly extendoutward form0.25mm Clinical treatment simulation wire into the bracket process tomeasure the tooth stress through the arch wire deformation, Analysis of maxillary lateralincisor correction in the process of peri-odontal tissue stress and displacement of the teeth.[Result]: In the early in use0.012inch NITI orthodontic tooth root stress is mainly theroot1/3and root at the central junction, periodontal membrane stress mainly for tooth neck,the stress of the alveolar bone is relatively complex, tooth movement for the tilt movement.In the late in use0.019×0.25inch wire orthodontic tooth root stress is mainly the middleof the root, periodontal membrane stress mainly for tooth neck, the stress of the alveolarbone is relatively complex, tooth movement for the tilt movement.[Conclusion]: According to the finite element modeling, stress analysis, Get orthodonticforce under the action of ectopic lateral incisor and the periodontal ligament, alveolar bonestress.
