Object i ve:The decompression of Anterior cervical is a kind of fusion is effective treatment in the treatment of cervical spondylosis.Which can be divided into autograft or allograft bone fusion materials, metal and nonmetal, using PEEK materials fusion could avoid related complications, more meet the requirements for human spinal structure and the internal environment, and through the cervical intervertebral fusion after anterior intervertebral fusion is safety and effectiveness analysis evaluation, understand the biological characteristics of fusion indications and clinical effects in order to the more application in the treatment of cervical vertebra disease, the more effectively promote clinical rehabilitation, through the use of PEEK materials intervertebral fusion effect research to guide how to exert advantages and reduce complications, is beneficial to develop more ergonomic spine biomechanics materials.Method:By20127cases of cervical spondylosis patients used FirestoneTM PEEK fusion to analyse and evaluate the clinical effect after implantation (evaluation criteria using the Japanese orthopaedic association JOA、VAS, intervertebral height change, cervical physiological curvature index.) Observed in patients with postoperative clinical symptom relief, intervertebral height and cervical physiological curvature change, the stability of the intervertebral fusion and bone interface. Understanding of intervertebral fusion have without complications such as subsidence displacement.Result:About7cases was all together (fusion rate100%), postoperative pain, numbness symptoms, quality of life improved, patients can early engaged in activities and to participate in the work, prompt intervertebral disc height is significantly increased preoperative imaging data, X-ray bone trabecular of visible through, no bright area, no obvious displacement of adjacent spinous process, there is statistical significance, physiological curvature to get a good recovery. Without fusion implant complications such as sinking, shift, loose,etc.Conclusion::Anterior cervical decompression in the treatment of cervical spondylosis fusion implant surgery is exact and effective treatments, PEEK material fusion surgery can achieve immediate stability, effectively restore intervertebral disc height and maintain the physiological curvature of cervical vertebra, can achieve a better immediate stability, using PEEK fusion materials used its biocompatibility in combination with filling cancellous bone induction, bone conduction, the advantages of the restore height of cervical curvature at the same time, promote the osseous fusion complications such as postoperative follow-up did not see obvious displacement of sinking. In the fusion of the frontier research direction for the closer the biological mechanics of materials, has a good bone induction, bone conduction and good biocompatibility of biomaterials, the artificial intervertebral disc, absorb the intervertebral fusion is the development direction of feasibility for human life.
