Electropalatogrphy is a good device for the study of people pronounces characteristics. It can detect the state of the tongue in the pronunciation and touch the palate situation and according to the tongue and palate exposure to predict the movement of the tongue roughly tracks. Now many countries and regions have studied and achieved some good results. Such as Europe, Russia, Japan and USA. It has become an important means of voice studies.This paper has designed a system of Electropalatogrphy. There are including production and improved of Electropalatogrphy, hardware and software design of Electropalatogrphy system and solve the problem of alignment of the two signals about Palate signal and Voice signal, a total of three parts. Research is divided into the following areas:(1) Introduces several Electropalatogrphies on the market, and made some advantages and disadvantages comparative. Electrode position distributions made a note on Electropalatogrphy.(2) Then introduces the production of materials and methods of traditional Electropalatogrphy and notes some deficiencies in the production process and puts forward my suggestions for improvement.(3) Introduces the design of the whole system is divided into upper and lower parts of two-bit machine. The lower machine part is the use of single-chip STC89C52 RC as a core control to complete the control of each chip, and also communicates with the host computer. It is the use of C language platform to achieve a goal; The upper machine part is the use of Delphi language platform, and to be programmed under the various controls to achieve the entire block diagram interface, so as to achieve the purpose of signal acquisition.(4) In the whole system during the experiment, for the collected data, we find the data of the two signals which is not exactly match and it is the presence of dislocation. Therefore propose some solutions in this article and on this basis put forward their own way. Because the two signals are not simultaneous, we join the start and end timestamps to resolve the problem. Finally, it is elaborated for the signal alignment process.The advantage of this system design is carried out on the producing method for Electropalatogrphy to improve and solve the problem that two-way signal can’t match. It also provides valuable design idea for the Electropalatogrphy system design for the future.
