Professor Liu Yanning 's Experience In Treating 36 Cases Of Membranous Nephropathy With Clinical Efficacy And Experience

Membranous Nephropathy(hereinafter referred to as MN) is common pathological type of adult refractory nephrosis and the most common pathological types of nephrotic syndrome in adults. It characterized by immune complex cumulating under the epithelial, and the thickening of basement membrane. According to the causes, MN can be divided into two types, idiopathic membranous nephropathy and secondary membranous nephropathy. At present, the pathogenesis of MN is still not clear and the prognosis is uncertain, besides its treatment is still in the immature stage, all those make it difficult to develop an ideal treatment method. The existing immunosuppressive therapy is hard to be widely accepted because of huge side effects of the drug. But chinese medicine has an unique and distinct advantage in slowing disease progression, alleviating symptoms, improving laboratory index, avoiding drug side effects and preventing the complications. In recent years, Many domestic scholars have did a lot of researches in treating MN with traditional Chinese medicine, and also achieved good results.Objective:Observing the treatment effect of MN patient who was treated by Professor Yuning Liu with traditional Chinese medicine by a retrospective study, to verify the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine and sum up his treatment experience. For the sake of that it can provide reference treatment solutions for the patients of MN.Methods:To collect patients of MN who treated by Professor Yuning Liu of Dong zhi men hospital in a random way during the past two years. All the patients had been clearly diagnosed with Membranous Nephropathy no matter primary and secondary, totally 36 cases. All the patients had been treated with Chinese Medicine at least three months. Evaluating effect by comparing the change of laboratory indexes before and after in patients with statistical software SPSS17.0.Results:In this study the number of male patients is more than female patients, their onset age mainly concentrated in 20 to 70 years old. Most of the patient’s have Suffered from the diseases more than 2 years. In the 36 cases, the idiopathic membranous nephropathy has a large number than the secondary membranous nephropathy. All above is consistent with most current clinical studies. By comparing the change of patient’s laboratory indexes before and after, we found that no matter the patients’ symptoms or the laboratory indexes had been obviously improved. According to the standard of the western medicine curative effect evaluation, the 32 cases have different degrees of improvement in total, only 4 cases’ treatment is invalid.Conclusion:The methods of Bu qi shu gan at the same time huo xue hua yu and qing li shi re what Professor Yuning Liu had used in treatment of MN was proved to be effective.
