Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus With Yiqi Yangyin Decoction And

Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of Yiqiyangyin (Supplement Qi and Nourish Yin) hypoglycemic free fried Chinese herbs combined with western medicine in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with Qi and Yin deficiency, the control group was given Western medicine metformin hydrochloride tablets and voglibose tablets , and the test group was contrast to the control group with the difference of the use of of Chinese herbs, trying to compare the two groups different curative effects and evaluate the actual efficacy of Yiqiyangyin hypoglycemic prescriptions supplementing qi and nourishing yin.Methods:The research samples were selected from the patients visiting to the Outpatient Department of Endocrinology and kidney Department of WangJing Hospital which belongs to China Academy of Traditional Chinese medicine. From February 2014 to February 2015,68 patients with type 2 diabetes meeting the inclusion criteria were taken into the research, and were randomly divided into experimental group of 35 patients and the control group of 33 cases. During the test, five cases were off. The actual test group was consisted of 32 test cases and 31 control cases. The two groups were both received metformin hydrochloride tablets with the dosage of 500mg three times a day, and voglibose tablets with the dosage of 0.2mg three times a day. On the basis of Western hypoglycemic therapy, the control group was given the Yiqiyangyin hypoglycemic recipe one day of one dose. After 12 weeks of the contrasting treatment, the data including symptom scores, fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial glucose, fasting serum C-peptide and 2 hours postprandial changes of serum C-peptide, glycocylated hemoglobin(GHB)were analyzed before and after the test course, compared and evaluated the benefits clinical efficacy of Yiqiyangyin hypoglycemic.The result:1. A comparison of the two groups was made before treatment and confirmed the consistent baseline. General data including age, gender, duration, body mass index of two groups were compared. There was no significant difference between groups (P＞0.05), and the two groups were comparable. Symptom score, fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial glucose, fasting C-peptide and 2-hour postprandial C-peptide, glycocylated hemoglobin were compared, and no difference between the two groups was found (P＞0.05). The two groups were actually comparable.2. The total effective rate of the experimental group was 84.38%, but the total effective rate of the control group was 51.61%. The two groups were significantly different (P＜0.05).3. Before treatment, symptom scores compared of two groups, no significant difference was between groups (P＞0.05). By contrast 12 weeks of observation, from the second week, the changes of symptom score were different between two groups. The symptom scores decreased in the test group after 2 weeks, but after 4 weeks, symptom scores in the control group decreased. Besides, symptom scores changing in the experimental group were significantly different than the control groups (P＜0.01).4. Before and after treatment, fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose between two groups respectively showed a significant statistical difference (P＜0.01). After treatment, the two groups showed a significant difference (P＜0.01).5. Before and after treatment, GHB of the test group showed significant statistical difference (P＜0.01), and the control group showed a statistical difference (P＜0.05) GHB of the two groups before and after treatment showed a significant statistical difference (P＜0.01).6. Before and after treatment, fasting C-peptide,2-hour postprandial C-peptide of the test group and the fasting C-peptide of the control group showed a significant statistical difference (P＜0.01).And the 2-hour postprandial C-peptide of the control group showed a statistical difference (P＜0.05). After treatment, the two groups showed a significant difference (P＜0.01).7. Before and after treatment, all the patients were taken blood samples to test liver function (ALT, AST), renal function (CRE, BUN), the data are normal.Before and after treatment, all the patients were taken urine sample to do urine routine tests, and the data are in normal level. No adverse reactions and adverse events occurred in the study.Conclusion:1 Yiqiyangyin Hypoglycemic Decoction combined metformin hydrochloride tablets, tablets Voglibose used to treat the type 2 diabetes people with deficiency of Qi and Yin has good effects;2 Yiqiyangyin Hypoglycemic Decoction combined metformin hydrochloride tablets, voglibose tablets can improve clinical symptoms of diabetes such as thirst and polydipsia, fatigue, and et3 Yiqiyangyin Hypoglycemic Decoction combined metformin hydrochloride tablets, voglibose tablets can improve fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood sugar, reduce glycated hemoglobin, reduce C-peptide and improve Islet function.4 The clinical study of Yiqiyangyin Hypoglycemic Decoction combined metformin hydrochloride tablets, voglibose tablets, safe and effective with no adverse reactions.
