| [Objective] In our research we assess by the scale of MMSE, TCM symptoms scale and another related scale, to discuss relationship between the cognitive function and hypertension syndrome in the elderly high blood pressure patients, and the influence of cognitive impairment by related factors. Comprehensive discussion is in order to deepen the understanding of cognitive impairment. Eventually improve the effect of the prevention and treatment on cognitive impairment of elderly hypertensive patients.[Methods]The Investigation method was cross-section survey. We Includ the 378 elderly outpatients and inpatients with hypertension in Beijing, Chaoyang District, Jinsong, balizhuang, zuojiazhuang, yayuncun and another 16 community health service centers of thecases, by basic information questionnaire, TCM four diagnostic information sheet, the mini mental state examination (MMSE), TCM Syndrome Scale to carry on the investigation, using of SPSS19.0 statistical analysis software, to do the descriptive analysis of the data collected, the T test, nonparametric test, analysis of variance, analysis of the correlation function in elderly hypertensive patients with hypertension syndrome of cognitive research, and other factors that influence knowledge disorder in elderly patients with pertension.[Results]1ã€According to the statistical results, the number of cognitive dysfunction patients with Yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity syndrome accounted for the largest, while cognitive function and TSM Syndrome of hypertension are not statistically significant (P>0.05). The result of different syndromes in elderly hypertensive patients with MMSE scores were statistical research, research by the non parametric test, p=0.039<0.05, indicating that impaired cognition in elderly patients with essential hypertension of different TCM syndrome, which means MMSE score differences, indicating that different traditional Chinese medicine syndrome have influence on the score of MMSE, and the MMSE scores of excessive accumulation of phlegm dampness syndrome are obviously lower than the other three, and it was more significant than other syndromes on the score of MMSE.2ã€According to the analysis results, there is a incidence between the cognitive dysfunction and the age (P=0.01<0.05), complications of hypertension and the cognitive impairment also have correlation (P=0.011<0.05), there is a correlation between the risk stratification of hypertension and cognitive impairment (P=0.008<0.05).3ã€In the 378 patients with hypertension, yin deficiency and yang hyperactivi ty syndrome is the most common, for about 34.4%, followed by phlegm dampness, hyperactivi ty of liver fire, two deficiency of yin and yang two. Aaccording to the MMSE score, The number of the cognitive dysfunction patients is about 139 (36.8%); The number of normal cognitive function is about 239 people (63.2%).[Conclusion]The results suggest that there are cognitive impairment in elderly hypertensive patients, especially the MMSE scores of phlegm dampness elderly hypertensive patients reduce than other significantly, which prove that the type of cognitive impairment is the most serious. The study also show that someone with the increase of age is more likely to have cognitive dysfunction, complication of hypertension with diabetes is the most closely with cognitive impairment, the higher risk of hypertension prone to cognitive impairment. It has reference significance in the prevention and control of hypertension in patients with brain damage of traditional Chinese medicine. |
