Objective1. To study the relationship between risk factors of cerebral injury and motordevelopment of infants, and find out the relativity between the number of factors and themotor DQ as well as comprehensive DQ.2. To evaluate and analyze a better intervention strategies and intervention stage fortreating campaign growth retardation in infants.Methods1. According to the number of risk factors,76newborns were divided into three groups(infants without factors were put into A group, with1-2factors B group, with more than3factors C group); when they are40-day’s-old, all the subjects received GESELLDEVELOPMENT TEST, and the results were collected. Find out the relationship between thenumber of risk factors and the motor DQ as well as comprehensive DQ.2. According to intervention stages,32infants with campaign growth retardation weredivided into very early stage group(1-3month), early stage group(4-6month), routinegroup(7-12month), accordingly. All three intervention groups were received the combiningtraditional Chinese medicine and western rehabilitation treatment.33normal healthy infantswithout risk factors were selected into three groups, too, as control groups. Control groupsreceived no intervention. All65infants were given GESELL DEVELOPMENT TEST beforeand after3month of intervention(motor DQ≤75is regarded as abnormal,75-85as suspected,≥85as normal). All65infants were given NEUROMOTOR TEST every month during3months of observation.Results1. Significant negative correlation were found between the number of risk factors andmotor DQ(P=0.000<0.01)2. Additional, the number and comprehensive DQ show apparent negative correlativity(P=0.000<0.01).3. After three months combining treatment, the motor DQ of all3intervention groupshas been greatly increased(P<0.05).4. After analyzing the motor DQ changes, we find out that the improvement of very earlystage group is much greater than the other two groups(P<0.05);well the early stage groupand routine group has no significant difference(P>0.05).5. The total efficiencies of three intervention groups are remarkably different(P<0.05),and the intervention in a very stage is found out the best (91.7%), followed by early stagegroup (83.3%) and routine group (75%).6. In the very early stage group,11infants(91.67%) showed the signs of recovery fromneuromotor dysfunction; followed by early stage group, and routine group, and theproportions of improved cases are83.33%and75%.Conclusion1. As the number of risk factors increase, motor DQ and comprehensive DQ went down; Therefore, reduce the risk factors during the perinatal period can improve the motordevelopment and comprehensive capacity.2. The combining of traditional Chinese medicine and western rehabilitation treatmenthas clinical effect that significantly promote the campaign growth retardation in high-riskinfants; and the intervention in a very early stage is much more effective than early stagetreatment and routine treatment3. The combining treatment can be considered as a better solution to improve thedevelopment, raise the curative efficiency, lessen the chance of cerebral injury and motordysfunction in children with campaign growth retardation.
