Clinical Study On Treatment Of Diarrhea - Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome (Spleen Deficiency And Dampness Syndrome) By Shenlingbaizhu Powder Combined With Auricular Point Pressing

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of auricular-plaster therapy and ShenLingBaiZhu power in treatment of patients with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(spleen deficiency and dampness).Methods:Select60cases of outpatient and hospitalized patients of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,who meet the diagnostic criteria of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(spleen deficiency and dampness).According to the doctor order number,1:1:1ratio were randomly divided into treatment group, auricular therapy group, the combined therapy group.Respectively using ShenLingBaiZhu power for oral,trimebutine maleate tablets and capsules probiotics for oral auricular-plaster therapy and ShenLingBaiZhu power treatment,20cases in each group, treatment for30days, to record the Chinese medicine symptom integral and5-HT (5-hydroxytryptamine) value changes for each group before and after the treatment,Statistics and analysis the data.Results:1.After30days of treatment, comprehensive treatment group, the total effective rate of comprehensive treatment group was90%, treatment group was85%, Western medicine treatment group was80%,There is significant different in the total effective rate for each group(P<0.01).2.In the total score changes of TCM syndrome, the comprehensive treatment group was better than treatment group and auricular therapy group,there is significant different in the trend of improvement by statistical analysis(P<0.01).There are statistically significant between treatment group and Western medicine treatment group(P<0.05).3.The single symptom integral aspect of three groups was improved than before treatment,there is significant diffrent in the trend of improvement by statistical analysis(P<0.05);In improving the abdominal pain and abdominal discomfort, stool frequency, stool nature, poor appetite, etc.the comprehensive treatment group was better than treatment group and auricular therapy group,there is significant different in the trend of improvement by statistical analysis(P<0.05).There are statistically significant between treatment group and Western medicine treatment group(P<0.05).4.In the change of5-HT value,three groups of5-HT value than before treatment after treatment were lower,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),suggest that all three groups can decrease5-HT levels in the blood.the comprehensive treatment group was better than treatment group and auricular therapy group,there is significant different in the trend of improvement by statistical analysis(P<0.05).There are statistically significant between treatment group and Western medicine treatment group(P<0.05).5.There was no obvious side effects in whole course. Conclusion:Shenlingbaizhu powder combined with auricular-plaster can be effective in the treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (spleen deficiency and dampness) patients, significantly improve the clinical symptoms, no toxic side effect, is worth the clinical promotion.
